Good OxBow settlement location ?

So i played this game for years and now i want to try this new area..

Have anyone figure out a good location yet that have plenty of wood, iron ..stone..
In general a good starting location for your settlement on this map..

Preferly in center of the map so have access to the other cities evenly..

Everywhere, but also nowhere. Most of the great places are littered with abandoned homes or has restrictions.

E of Klonica has tons of Maple and flat land on the island.

NE of Skauki has a fairly open space with only a few steep slopes. There's also an open Iron mine and a player mine nearby.

S of Piastovia is wide open next to the abandoned home with a decent little island nearby and gently sloped land next to the border for farming.

I haven't really found anywhere else I love, though I've seen plenty of waterfall recommendations and pics elsewhere.

I build everywhere. I don't stay in one spot.

yeh i try start near that mine NE but nighttime there was lots of wolfes keep kill me off :) ..
but i still think its a good starting point:) consider that mine is there.

The two "halfmoon" peninsulas only 100 metres away in the southwest of Piastovia are perfect - fast way to town for trading and to the questboard ... and near the fastraveling carriage, so you are fast in every other town. P.S. @Devs Let us hire/ build an own fast travelling carriage in our village, so we don't be "forced" to build near one!

The waterfall is a bit tricky. Only a small location for a fishing hut and many restrictions. You are not allowed to build everywhere near the river - many "small red zones" which are not marked.

The south side of the northern river inlet is good but a bit of a trek to other places - lots of maples, flat land, 2 mines. If you like a more isolated spot, this one is good

[Willow Rivers]

I am building on the island in the middle of the river in the middle of the map. One side is not deep you walk off the island without wading. Lot of flat open space for a good size settlement.

I still have to explore the map. The island seemed like a good spot for my first run on the map :)

Me and a few friends went a bit South from the starting town along the river. On the map there's a pond that looks like a sperm (i dunno how else to describe it really)

We settled there. And to our suprise it has everything. Towns close, a mine, clayfields, deer, reeds for straw, loads of water and trees, gorgeous view from a nearby hill. (Where my house is)

this is the location i went in beginning.. was wondering to settle there to. hm..

well if you aim to do a co op run or a new run on the map. it's a great place ^^
