I think there's a way to go back to a prior version of the game using a "beta code" but I don't know much about that, and you'd lose out on everything else the update changed.
The setting is bugged and not working at the moment.
Our cat would start running.
I’ve had a lot of trouble with this, especially because they seem to sense you before you can even “see” them using your tracking sight or before the sound settings signal they are even in the area (like hearing growls or other cues). So I’ll be walking on a road, I hear no growls or other sounds and see no “red spots” indicating any hostile animals in the area and all of a sudden there’s a wolf attacking me.
I don’t have a problem with some additional aggressiveness but I think the “warning mechanisms” should also be retuned to allow us to be vigilant and try to avoid things. Or perhaps make the roadways a “safe” space (decreased aggro radius while you’re on a road). Especially since it is hard to even run away from some of these animals (wisent are faster than me even when I’m sprinting and wolf and boar can be deadly if you run the “wrong way” and tire before you can leave aggro range).
I also have no idea what is up with the foxes. I’ve gotten close to some and they run off. Then I pass by a second and it attacks. Is there a logic to their behavior (meaning they attack under X condition but not under Y condition) or is it kind of random. Also seems like the other “yellow” animals (badgers, lynx - the ones that have always run when approached but attacked if injured) aren’t doing the same thing.
