Domagoj's quest is bugged (iron crossbow)?

I went to Ida, fetched the 20 fish meat for her and she gave me Domagoj's iron crossbow. I went back to Domagoj but I'm unable to hand in his crossbow. The only option is "still searching for the crossbow", but I have his in my inventory. How do I resolve this so I can continu the quest?

You are not given a crossbow to give to him. You have to craft a simple wooden one and hand it in, if you wanna give the iron one then make sure it is not equipped. <3

It didn't work for me. I've reloaded, the crossbow is in inventory and not equipped. Still only says "Still searching for the crossbow".

Having the same problem right now. Apparently, you're supposed to be able to give him any old iron crossbow, but I went through the trouble of getting this one - I'd really like to just be able to hand it to him :D

Interestingly enough, the crossbow is also listed as a miscellaneous item, not a quest item - even though it behaves exactly *like* a quest item. Not being droppable or sellable.

Just a small heads-up: We are looking into this. It does seem to be a general issue. Hopefully we will have a fix for everybody quickly.

(edit: I managed to finish the quest by giving him a wooden crossbow I made myself)

I just had this issue too. Thankfully a save and reload fixed it, and I was able to give him his crossbow.

This should finally have been fixed in 2.0.0.3, currently on the testing (beta) branch:

Fixed:
- Quests that had reward in quest items (like Domagoj's crossbow) were broken until save reload due to item being in player's inventory instead of quest inventory

I must warn you though that while that version fixes a lot of bugs, it introduced one new one as that animal kills don't count towards quests anymore. So you might want to try it out to see if it fixes your issue, but if you take any quests where you have to hunt an animal or multiple animals for, you might want to revert back to the live version 2.0.0.2
