Did anyone figure out the "Stay Vigilant" quest yet?

Am now in year 2 and went to all red marked areas on the map and nothing completes this quest :(

Think the red-marked areas are 'no build' zones; quest areas tend to be yellow circles (like the quest markers)

For non english speakers : you have to speak to the 3 villages chiefs to advance this quest

How do we know who the chiefs are?

You can ask any villager who's in charge.

What apparently made the quest progress for me was to do "enough" notice board quests. I don't know the exact number, but my guess is 10. I didn't do all of them every season, and I also had seasons where I skipped them alltogether.

I don't know if other village quests are necessary for the Vigilant quest.

Its more than just that, I did that my first play though, and did not complete the quest until years later.

My personal thoughts are it is talking to the leaders, and do specific quests, that you might have to wait for it to be offered, but thats just a thought.

That is a thought.. but I'm fairly sure that I have spoken to every person in every town. I have done all the visible quests, the only ones I get are from the noticeboard and my villagers.

Having said that... I recall that there was a guy called Sambor who had a quest-line you could complete, and then he had no quest marker on him.... BUT after that if you took him a carving a new quest-line opened turning him into a salesman selling carvings..

I have a nagging feeling that something similar is need here, don't know who that is or what the item might be. Perhaps something will turn up when the leader(s) die and need new leaders??

Like a fool I don't recall what the leader asked for in the first place... There might be a clue in the text they said..

I'm in year 22 so I don't think it's a time thing... But who knows....
