Problems with the co-op!

But then we found a place for their settlement began to build and found that my friend the game does not see as a settler, it can not add either in the house or in the hunter's hut. I thought that there are settings where you can add her to the settlement, but did not find.
Started to climb various sites and look for information about this, but did not find.
Help please, very like your game, but after this case, a friend disconnected in discord in upset feelings.

You both need to have your own house, so build your friend their own house, and then they should have the option "assign to player" when selecting the new house in the list.

She says she tried it and still the game doesn't see her as a resident. And in the management it says 1 resident, that is a host.

And what about customization in co-op? There was talk of removing friendly fire.

Yeah. We also thought the problem was that two players can't live in the same house.

In my game with my son, he hosted and i claimed the second house by following the directions on the sign. For me it was to hold the E button.

We tried. The game just doesn't recognize the friend as a settler.

did you unlock duab from the tech tree

have you made the duab

baring that have you purchased the skill to upgrade houses

if yes to those then not sure the issue

Your friend need to go to the sign in front of the house they build and assign them to it. We had the same issue

We have the same problem.
We built 3 houses.
First house was directly assigned to the host.
Second and third house can not be assigned to any other player as the are not in the list.
Everyone built his own house, but only the host has a house assigned.
There is no option for the other players.
The host can not assign as well.
Neither in management menu nor directly at the house.

I played as a host and could not assign my coop their house. They did not have to go to the house to assign it though. They entered Management and assigned it to themselves.

Tell me, did you have 2 or more people in the settlement, because we have only me in the settlement?

I understand there is a problem, but no solution yet. Well, we are waiting for a patch for the game, maybe there will fix it.
