Cant Join COOP

Update: Solutions so far:
ALL Solutions so Far :

1)
Switching DX to:
Both Dx12 ,
Both Dx11,
Host to Dx12 joiners to Dx11 ( seems to work for most people )

2)
Host open new game and save it
Host load the saved game
Guest join

3) join over Host Steam Profile ( right Click, Join Game )

4) Guest player creates new co-op game & saves.
Both host & guest player exit game and restart
Host loads their save again and then guest can join

6) Update the Game to 2.0.0.2 / or switch to Beta build

Same, me and my friends have the same Problem, noone can join anyone.

we made it , we have both games on DX12 then it worked.

Does not work for us, still black screen.

No, at this point we tried everything.
To me it seems, like it doesn not even try to load, we get black screens und have a mouse curser and you can hear the mouseover sound on the buttons. Then after a while, it just goes back to normal main menu.

Same here. we were both on direct x12 so that was not the issue either. Tried switching both to directx11. that did not work either

Every time you enter a saved Multiplayer game it changes the code

Having exact same issue just loads a black screen then after 30 seconds flicks back to main menu - tried multiple times, closed down the game, uninstalled and still nothing work

Still having the issue as well.

Steps taken:
Cleared Steam Download Cache
Verified Game Integrity
Made sure Firewall allowed app on Private and Public
checked antivirus to make sure it wasn't blocking it
made sure to match all settings with friend (by going default on everything)
tried what was listed above, matching DX versions
Uninstalled and reinstalled
Restarted PC and Modem
Made sure graphic drivers were up to date
We are both on version 2.0.0.0

My friend was able to join a game hosted by somebody else, but we cannot connect.

We have both tried hosting and still nothing.

This is very frustrating.

Port forwarding instead of UPNP?
System updated (motherboard, bios, etc)?

Thank you for the suggestions.

I doubled checked these options. Everything is up to date and tried Port Forwarding just now and still doing the same thing.

We got a solution for us. The host still set DX 12 and the player who want to join set DX 11 and then he could join

For us it was both have to be use DX12 , it makes no sense at all
