If "almost all" your joy of this game stems from virtual fields with free axis, surely you can find a different game which is more suited to your extremely-niche hobby of free-placing virtual fields, without any of the other gameplay bringing you down?

I know it doesn't help you out with your current build design, but we learn by mistakes and keep building with better design layouts.
The "Law" in the game is for the Villagers AI. When Reaping, Sowing or Plowing, they follow the N S E W path programmed into the fields.
How do you know? The game is on Epic and Consoles. They may be playing it on another platform. Just because they don't play it on Steam doesn't mean that don't play.
