heir, how many kids?

I know npc's can have 2 kids(house permitting), is this the same for my heir. I am on the third generation, but have changed leadership as soon as they hit 18. If I throw my son out @18, getting him married off, would/could he have 2 children?

No, everyone in your downwards line can only have one child, and always a male. This to prevent creating problems when you take over the heir.

I understand .... So the kido's are not arguing over who should be leader. You know one will say I was born first, the other yeah but you smell and I am a better hunter. :)

The exception is ....
If you hand over to your heir when he's still young (18) and you and your missus are youngish... Your OLD you (Rash) and his wife can have a second child. ERGO your old you (Rash) can get a brother or even a sister..

I'm hoping to find out if I can pass my estate to my Grandson.. He's 12, I'm 58.
