Now I know some of you think it died in the night... but NO if that had happened I would not now have to not only buy another horse but a saddle, horseshoes, saddlebag etc. as well You see IF it had died such things would be in the stable (probably with a corpse)...

OR... Do I have a thief in my town ??? Maybe one of those parents I keep upsetting by giving their kids all those weapons against the wishes of the parents.

Are you sure it rain away because horses can die in this game, maybe its age was too high and it just decided to ride into the sunset, to reach the never ending pastures of horse heaven, I wish they had tombstones in the game, like urm that have the names of villagers of the past that have died, better yet build a church and we can put the urms in the ground and they will become tombstones. Back on those days churches also acted as graveyards as christians could only be burried in concencrated ground.

Did you notice it missing right after a new season started? Because you might have accidentally removed it from its stable and if you do that, it'll disappear after season's end.

Or maybe it did die of old age and the saddle and other stuff are in the resource storage?

Do you still have a save not that long ago when it still lived so you can check the age?

The sadle would still be in the stable.
Only way that it will not turn up there is if the stable got so demolish that it dont count as built.

Yes this was meant as a chuckle post. I assumed it actually died. I keep arming kids against the wishes of parents (just like dad quest)..... Figured one was after revenge as humour.. I guess my smile not funny...

Just checked in the box in the stable.... The thief must have sneaked it back with fear of me setting my 'gang' of arms kiddies on him/her

Mine too. In an experiment I killed all mine and their bodies lay on the ground for many, many seasons and only disappeared after I took the saddles off of them.

Yeah I have a game save where the horse's corpse cannot be removed, because the saddle will not come off. The horse was sold, but somehow ended up dead close to the stable. Its the same horse that had the medicine bottle, which was bugged and could not be removed from inventories.
