Do spears despawn, too?
(Edited; yes, when i went in to day the arrow was gone and the basked was on the floor..)
There are hooks on the racks that can be used to hang stuff
And you don't have to drop and hope, you can drag items around using the mouse. Which is how you can hang items on the rack hooks https://youtu.be/ZM-6Lrx67z8?si=7QKfLWW0gAbRTDrE
My new favorite is dropping a scythe on the ground, it pops up into the air to about 5' level, twists around and flings itself back down on the ground about 6 feet from where I wanted it to go.
When placing items I am blind, am in the menu where I actually can't see the object or where it will go at all. I think I know where it should go but it's a total crap shoot. I guess that is how it was planned but sheesh, what a nightmare. And when you go to set something down like a cup, jug, plate, bowl, half the time it just falls on its side, or better yet, totally upside down. Not a good look.
But the very worst thing is that I can take a feather and push a pile of logs with it. Nothing has any weight. When you set an item down if anything gets even near it, it will fly off from where ever it was placed. This is nuts. When you place an object the damned thing should stay exactly where you put it until you move it. Period. I actually made a thimble push logs around. Does that make any kind of sense? Not a bit.
I love this game, I can do enough decorating to make my village look lived in but it is just such a time consuming process that works poorly or not at all that it really takes away from the game. I have completed thousands of hours and pretty high level building projects in ESO, have made big moated villages in Valheim, good sized bases in NMS so this is not my first rodeo. I shall continue to work on my building skills in this game but it is unnecessarily difficult, time consuming and frustrating as it currently stands.
Rant over.
Hi :-)
Thank you the tips about Goldie, i love to see as many different versions as possible to be able to get new ideas :-)
Yea, it is to much for me, at least now, but i pick up some of the things i know i have the patience to do. :-)
