Similar games?

What's a game like this but you can run your own business?

Define "like this"? Are you talking about the dynasty aspect of the game, or the fact that you have a village sim where you also walk around in 1st person and can do all the jobs? Or more the survival aspect?

First person and the graphics mostly. Survival is an added bonus. Huge bonus if I can go adventuring in dungeons like an item shop tale but first person.

I don't know any games like that. But I agree that adding that aspect to a sandbox like Medieval Dynasty would be awesome. If you ever find a game like that, let me know! :-)

For now I have Saelig on my wishlist. It seems very promising, but it's still in early access and not first person.
Probably similar to the Guild series, but again, that's not first person (and no dungeoneering either as far as i know).

There is a game called Kingdoms. Made by a single dev.
Very similar to this game. Npcs can actually build there own buildings and you can run a store. There is also more combat.
The bad news is it isn't finished and seems to be abandoned by the dev.

That rumor has been spread by one troll on that forum. He is a real jackass. When I called him out on his crappy behavior he threatened to fight me. So I gave him my address and found out he only lived about 2 hours away. Needless to say he completely wimped out and never came to my house.

From what I read, the poor guy is Russian. He may very well have been sent to the front and could be dead. The game does look interesting and only $9.99.

The more believable side is the game needed a complete rewrite to achieve what he wanted and decided to move on.

Y, I added it to my wishlist after you mentioned it here before, to keep an eye on whether it gets updated again at some point. It seems such an interesting concept with a lot of promise so it's a real shame.

Y, I added it to my wishlist after you mentioned it here before, to keep an eye on whether it gets updated again at some point. It seems such an interesting concept with a lot of promise so it's a real shame.

It really is a shame. If the dev was smart he would sell the code to a bigger studio and maybe ask for a small percentage of sales.
