I play Medieval in 1st person with FOV set to 90. Works well for me... until I ride my mount. I have to switch to 3rd for that.
It really sucks. Not much you can do about it.
Not sure why you think it's embarrassing? It's a physical reaction out of your control. Completely normal for X% of people... annoying, but not uncommon.
If you need any help, feel free to ask. In general it's a friendly community here. :-)
How do you switch?
Edit: Nope, not scroll down (different game I was thinking of). P will change your perspective.
I can't ride the horse in first person, but everything else is fine. Motion sickness for me comes from head bob, camera shake, depth of field, motion blur and sometimes ambient occlusion. before I upgraded my video card I had to cap my frame rate at 60 and stay in v sync or I would not be able to play games at all. and field of view greater than 75
Yes! P is the answer. Thanks !
Up= closer until it gets to First person
Down= from First to third then further back as I go more.
It does seem, though, to work for some and not for others.
