Because according to what I can find, the human eye can only see between 30 and 60 frames per second anyway. So why would you care about having more than 60 fps as long as you don't lag?
But seriously this game is not about FFS and you should not be concerned about hitting a particular number. If it looks pretty and you are seeing no stutters then it's running fine.
This is especially true on 1440p compared to 1080p which in general improves image quality a lot by itself.
Note that this is just general advice since I dont own the game yet but it should still hold true for the most part.
It should handle dips under 60 fairly well, though. That's one of the nice things about that technology and higher refresh rates... even at lower fps you get cleaner motion.

even without texts from my link, is this guy never ever used a monitor can display with framerate more than 60 fps?
Most amazing thing is I can't use insulting words to this 'Mo' because of steam community policy. and the funniest thing is, As I have seen, steam's discussion is full of these kinda 'ron'.
I'm not a doctor, nor a scientist and nowhere did I state I know the absolute truth, only that this is what I was told and found online (and therefore believed). I'm always open to new information though.
That I happen to be a mod isn't important here, you shouldn't be trying to insult anyone on the forums, we will warn/ban you just the same... ;-)
I always start by reducing those as much as I'm willing to tolerate and then gauging performance from there.
