There are currently no updates for Medieval Dynasty because they are working on the co-op update with a new map which is a huge undertaking for a game that wasn't designed for co-op to begin with.
Glad you are here to correct such nonsense.
1. You can just play single player.
2. You can play with someone you know.
Hoping that the CoOp experience makes the game enjoyable for me.
And this is all just my own personal opinion. Most MMOs are fine, because there's not that many ways to grief someone, but some of them... "toxic" doesn't describe them well enough.
Is the game not enjoyable to you as it is? I honestly wasn't sure I'd like it when I first got it. I've never been into building games just for the sake of building. I mean, something like Green Hell was cool, because it was a pretty hardcore survival game, but the building was a secondary part of it for me - I never really enjoyed that part. But this game... I don't know. I started playing it and realized I'd been playing it for weeks to the occlusion of all my 4x, TBS, and flight sim games. I was surprised to say the least.
I was under the impression they were making the multiplayer for private CoOp, pretty sure they even have a thread here with CoOp in the title.
I can't really remember much besides not really enjoying it and the breaking point for me was.. I started a town up in the woods but found out that, even though I could build there, the game wouldn't function properly at that location.
That's strange. What kind of issues were you having? I've built towns in woods before and never had a problem.
Only the farmers need to be actually present on the field to be able to do their work.
Only difficulty you could have is in the mountains, where there isn't enough flat terrain to build all you want to build. But the game allows for your buildings to be scattered all around the map on different locations as well. So you can have multiple little 'villages' and they'll all count as yours.
co-op is under the multiplayer umbrella.
As I said, I don't remember. I can recall there being a major issue and people here confirming it was where I built in other posts pointing out the same issue.
