I cant figure out...whats the easiest way to get to sewing tech and weaviving tech. I have 6 villagers now doing cooking, well, alchemy,fishing, hunting. How do I get more tech to make sewing and clothing?

production tech is earned by simply crafting and cooking, which can then unlock sewing buildings

All buildings in the same tech contribute to that tech, so cooking, sewing, and crafting in the workshop etc will all contribute to the production tech, which is the one used for sewing:

Your crafting will increase the production technology as well as your NPCs.
If you are finding the speed at which it increases to be a bit slow for you, then you can increase the amount gained in the Customise Game options. This can be changed at any time in an existing game.
