Gift to my Win7 partner
I love this game and I would love to offer it to my co-op partner. But she cannot switch from Win7 to Win10 and Steam will deny access to Win7 users in a few months. Where to buy this game to play it with her?

I think GoG.com is your safest bet as to having no restrictions on windows version, but we don't know yet if the co-op will work cross-platform (if she runs on GoG and you on Steam).

So I would wait a bit til there's more info on that before you decide. Plus, chances are that when co-op comes out, there'll be a discount.

The game is working on Win 7/8 and 10 as minimal specs on Epic too: will Epic deny access to Win7 users too?

Oh, that may be a good new. But if I understand you correctly that means I will probably have to buy the game twice, plus the gift... I may go for this though as Steam is unsafe to buy now.

On a side note, if the game is on GoG, that means it is DRM-Free? I'll check this.

@erikalee1976 & @Morri thank you both for answers btw.

That's why you should probably wait til you know if the co-op will work cross platform.

I think so, but I'm no expert on it. From what I know, on GoG you have the offline installer, so imo it will never force you on a certain platform and even if they cease to exist as a company, you'll still have access to the games you bought.
