WISENT SKULL?

Help please. In the wife's fish soup quest in Jezerica, I have killed 8 Wisent so far without getting a skull. Is this a bug or must I wipe out the entire Wisent population before achieving my goal?

I always sneak when hunting...especially when hunting bandits.

But do you need the perks though in order to do it? From the few times I do sneak among wildlife I've managed just fine without the perks.

There is an existing skill perk you can choose that does affect skull.

I'm not sure this is true. I just got this quest myself, and killed a wisent - no skull. Reloaded, killed again - no skull. Ten times! - no skull! So, I saved before skinning and tried again. 25 times reloading before skinning and no skull.

I guess I'll just have a pissed off wife.

That's a great idea. It was my first time getting that quest though. Had no idea what it was. :(
