You need an adult male and an adult female, and feed for them in their trough. That's all.

You do NOT need a worker, but then you need to put the feed in their trough yourself, as this is now needed for breeding since a recent patch.

Other than that, it's a random chance. Hope it helps and you'll have lots of new piglets next season :-)

Cool thanks! Enught put food in last day ín seasson? Or I need feed them all day?

I'm actually not sure. My theory is they only need food when season changes, so only on the last day, but I have never tested it as I always make sure they have enough food every single day.

If you try it out, be sure to let me know!

I've found that pigs give birth less often than other animals (except horses). I have a breeder assigned to my pigpen.

Isnt it weird we need a breeder for pigs to poop? :steamhappy:

We don't since a recent patch :-) The visual poop that you can collect is produced without a worker as well.

That is some valuable poop for fertilizer! Worth having a worker there if you can spare one. (Poop is cheap, you can always buy some too)

Perhaps it’s a coinkydink, but I swear if I clean the pens and fill the food the night before the season change, my odds of a baby animal go up???

Anyone else experience this, or is just a random algorithm and my observations are coincidental? Try it! 🐷🐷🐷

Totally a random thing.

Hm, for me it seems I have more chance to get newborn animals if I jump 3 times on one leg just before season change!

Is there a setting I can change so I only need to jump twice? :steamhappy:

I think somewhere in the customization settings!

I'm sure it's a coincidence, cause I always keep the pens clean and food topped up (also before season change) and I've been without new born animals for 3 seasons in a row already now. I really would love some more baby goats, but so far no luck. :-(

I can’t seem to send you a private message, Morri. Wouldn’t let me respond to yours? How to I respond to you privately? Ty
