Wife's clothes quest

How do you wash your wife's clothes?

Using a washing basin should do the trick.

You don't need to do anything special with them. It seems like when Racimir washes himself in a tub, he somehow plunges in completely, getting everything he is carrying washed at the same time. Handy skill to have! :-)

lol I just did this one again for my new heir's wife holding the next new heir and just washed myself twice in the washing tub and message appear clothes done and go to talk to wife, Too easy :)
I did forget so tried to add them to a tool slot that doesnt work cheers

Remember to hold the button. If you let it go during Racimir's washing animation it sometimes doesn't give credit. You need to hold the button the entire time until you see the notification that they're washed.

The update might have broken this quest. I did the washing in the basin and it says I did it but when I click on my wife it won't register and in my inventory it still says "dirty clothes" under the new quest item tab. Tried multiple times. Even built the new "laundry station"

It seems quite a lot of the quests on your old ongoing save are broken. Not just this one.

I started a new single player save after the multiplayer update to start fresh. I ran into the same problem and came across this thread searching for a solution. So I think old saves are not the cause. Also, the season before the child was born, the wife had a quest, but when I tried to receive it it was just blank dialogue and nothing happened.

Edit: I don't think the patch will come before the season ends during this new playthrough so I'm gunna have a pissed off and stinky wife on my hands lol.

Yes, there are bugs with the quests atm. Most of them should be fixed on the testing (beta) branch in 2.0.0.2. You can try it out already if you opt into the beta: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1129580/eventcomments/4027970580232300557/

this might be too late, but if anyone is having this issue, i tried something and it worked.
After washing yourself in the basin:
open your inventory, the "Slightly Less Dirty Clothes" is in the misc tab, it should be under quest items.
I sent it to my mount, closed the interface, open mount inventory and took it, on the second try the item was put in the right tab and i finished the quest
