I'd love to be chauffeured around the valley!
As allways, Morri shows that she has a brain 🥳🥳🥳
That would indeed be a classy act being chauffeured by the Wagoneer driving the roads with some of the narrow roads or tight bends. Especially the road between Hornica and Jezerica with the rock banks on both sides. I'd pay double to see that :D
If this was added, they could have two separate wagons. One for driving physically, so Morri can be chauffeured around, taking the scenic route. And one for impatient lazy bums like me, who wants to get somewhere fast. Honestly though, I do run around myself mostly, and use the wagon if I'm doing the side quests, and need to go buy/deliver/pick up something somewhere. That's usually only the first day of every season. I simply forget it excists, and start running somewhere, then remember, but I'm too far away now to run back XD AND most of the season I'm looking for camps anyway, preferably WITH bandits.
Yes, it should be late. The Builder's Hut is unlocked at 7500 points. The wagon could be at 10000? Maybe they could even add a quest to get a special villager for it, maybe a wife-quest like the other NPC's that join our town (depending on your choice).
dealing with that would only be fun if they converted that segment of the game into a straight up turret shooter. "stop and go" defeats the purpose of the wagon. the game's AI is not on the level that watching the wagoneer try to deal with enemies would be entertaining more than the first or second time. the least desirable option is less fun: the wagoner just doesent react to being killed, and continues on his path while being attacked as if there were no attack.
i will admit, aside from that it would be nice. the idea reminds me of a morrowind mod that executed this concept with the silt striders.
But they would indeed have to think of something to do then when there's something blocking the road; an animal or an npc walking there. Would be funny if there was an animation where they shout angrily at you while jumping out of the way last minute. (the npc's, not the animals!).
it would mean traveling still would take time, and that annimation each time could get boring:P but I would not want a cart.. your snobby lady want her private chariot.. protected from the elements;)
thieves blocking the roads with cut down trees.. sidewards placed cards or another barricade.. to jump on carts that have to stop for these barricades? but with an ability for you to demolish said barricades, so you would not keep bumping in it even after you killed said bandits?
