I had a quest from a boy, in Baranica I think, that I needed a toy sword. I bought that one from one of the smithy vendors.

Just had the Year 7 cutting hair and only having the reg doll or Toy sword now seems a bit underwhelming .. are there any other kids gifts ?

He's already received one of those 2 gifts each season since birth. So by the age of 18 that could be 36 rag dolls and 36 toy swords ... Thanks Dad another toy sword I'll put it with the others.

You can buy wooden animals from Sambor after completing a quest chain from him that is available if you have a strange deer object in your inventory.
If he has died, then the NPC that moves into his hut sells these toys.

If you did the quest with Sambor he retires and sells these wooden animal figurines which we can gift to children in the village or sell them. Go buy more from him.

Thanks Kwalyz and Jaunitta I did have 33 deer statues and found wolf carved statues far out in the mountains ... but I never have them as an option to gift for kids or for my son.

So in your games can you gift these statues to the kids?

You can not give the ones called “strange deer” to the children under the age of 14 (including your son).
The other animal figurines you can. One per season per child.
When a quest asks for a toy I think it’s specific.
