Is there some mod that will add some danger to the game ? I feel like to fail in this game u have to work hard. I have only 40h of a gameplay, walked through the entire map a couple of times, there is no danger in game, couple of wolves some bears and wisents. Bandits are just chillin in their mini camps, no ambush no nothing, they are just chillin and waiting for me to come close to them. Noone is getting sick, no natural disasters. I mean i know it's only 40h and maybe it will become harder later but to be honest I dont see it. I feel no need to protect anything, I'm just building a village, which is cool but having some adversaries or something to fight against would be nice. I think the game is way to easy to call it "survival" and I'm looking for some mod.

It is meant to be a more peaceful village-sim.
But there's an 'Armours and Shields'-Update on the way. Maybe, the Bandits will profit from it, too. And some of us would really like small Raids or something like that.
All optional, of course!
But large scale wars are very unlikely. That's not the idea behind the game.

This is indeed not a full blown survival game but a settlement sim/management game with survival lite and RPG lite elements.
It was not intended to have much danger but be mostly a peaceful experience.
You can however crank up the health and damage done by enemies in the customisation, which might help you a bit.

Mods are not supported for this game yet. Maybe mod support will get added at some point, it's a popular request, so who knows?

I'm not looking for some large scale wars, but just some little variance to what is going on, something like Disasters in "Cities Skylines" or some random events that could create some type of being "needed", like some rare bandit raids, or bear stealing food, wolves attacking livestock, just some of the ideas, I'm not looking for battles I like the relaxed atmosphere of the game, but it would be nice to have some variance added to it so i feel "needed" that im actually a protector of my vilage.

Up the enemy hp, enemy damage, and fights will get real serious real quick. Then you can have 200% taxes, wood usage, food usage etc. This game can get brutal if you want it to be.

So I would have to literally setup my environment around me to start failing by purposely mismanaging my village, this is exactly what I meant by saying "I feel like to fail in this game u have to work hard"

That's the same as for any other game, too. If 'Normal' is too easy, you'll have to choose 'Hard'.
What would be great imo, is dividing the HP/DMG settings for Bandits and animals.
I would like my Bandits to be a bit harder, sometimes. But I don't want to fight 200% wolfes, until there's silver in the game. Or hunt Heavy Siege-Rabbits.

I think that having similar system to what it is in "Farthest Frontier" game, like periodic raids of increasing number of bandits, or even same number but scaled up a bit. Some thieves that can steal some of resources so u have to re balance economy, when u have a bar let's random NPC to get drunk and have some fights and get injured, then u have a job for the "Healer" to make them good and come back to work ASAP. it doesn't have to be battle oriented game, just some events from time to time to break monotony. and let's make these optional, so if you wanna just chill and build, go for it, to me after 40h it's becoming boring and i think the game concept is great, i just feel like it's missing something, and i believe it's just that, some random events some little disruption.

Small Raids would be great, indeed. Some sort of "Defend Storage X this night"-Quest.
But random events like damaged buildings and fields due to a storm are already in.
Every Season-Change, there's a chance for these events.

Exactly this :-)
Though 200% is very doable and imo more realistic; (and bunnies are still a one shot). I wouldn't recommend much higher though.

@Abepi:
I don't see that as purposely mismanaging my village. I have taxes on 1000% and villager requirements on 1000% as well at the start (lowering it for every 2 new food options I give them) just to have a bit of a challenge.
But that's more an economic challenge; not a fighting one.

I like your suggestion though. Some suggested events could really add to the game imo and as long as they are optional in the settings, people who like it as peaceful as possible can still turn it off.

That's fair enough; they could have it switched off by default.
They should then announce its existence properly when you start a new game though, so that new players know it is there.

Das sehe ich auch so und damit wäre ich einverstanden. :)
