But there's an 'Armours and Shields'-Update on the way. Maybe, the Bandits will profit from it, too. And some of us would really like small Raids or something like that.
All optional, of course!
But large scale wars are very unlikely. That's not the idea behind the game.
It was not intended to have much danger but be mostly a peaceful experience.
You can however crank up the health and damage done by enemies in the customisation, which might help you a bit.
Mods are not supported for this game yet. Maybe mod support will get added at some point, it's a popular request, so who knows?
So I would have to literally setup my environment around me to start failing by purposely mismanaging my village, this is exactly what I meant by saying "I feel like to fail in this game u have to work hard"
What would be great imo, is dividing the HP/DMG settings for Bandits and animals.
I would like my Bandits to be a bit harder, sometimes. But I don't want to fight 200% wolfes, until there's silver in the game. Or hunt Heavy Siege-Rabbits.
But random events like damaged buildings and fields due to a storm are already in.
Every Season-Change, there's a chance for these events.
Exactly this :-)
Though 200% is very doable and imo more realistic; (and bunnies are still a one shot). I wouldn't recommend much higher though.
@Abepi:
I don't see that as purposely mismanaging my village. I have taxes on 1000% and villager requirements on 1000% as well at the start (lowering it for every 2 new food options I give them) just to have a bit of a challenge.
But that's more an economic challenge; not a fighting one.
I like your suggestion though. Some suggested events could really add to the game imo and as long as they are optional in the settings, people who like it as peaceful as possible can still turn it off.
They should then announce its existence properly when you start a new game though, so that new players know it is there.
