No option for barn workers to make flax stalk

I can't make linen thread which means I can't make lots of other things because I can't get my villagers to make flax stalk - there is no option for it in the talks assigned to the barn.

Please help.

You get flax stalk when you thresh flax, so if you order your barn works to make Flax grain/seed/whatever can't remember actually name, then you should get both the grain which you can do whatever with, but also the stalk. Where at wheat/oat/rye/etc give you the seed+straw flax gives you the seed+stalk.

I can do it myself but how do I get my barn workers to do it if there's no option for it?

make flax seeds it will make both.
