Farm Shed workers out of resources?
Bronze tools, bags (simple and cloth), seeds and plenty of fertilizer are all available from the Resource Storage, but my field workers are idling because they lack resources. Did I miss a step in this transition to Farm Sheds?

is it working time? if it's the middle of the night for example they won't check for tools till the morning at 8am when they start work

It's working time, of course, or I wouldn't see the icon. They are standing inside the sheds.

Could you send us the save? Maybe it tells us something.

I'd be glad to. How?

Works perfectly. Thank you very much! We just need a moment now.

Simple as that, eh? Rats! Thanks for the help. I wish the messages were more specific in-game.
TheMole Dec 21, 2022 @ 4:58am
No offence but how can it be more specific than "Status: No item: Oat grain"?

Or are you playing in another language, and the information given isn't as clear as in English?

Weil er nicht den NPC aufgerufen hat - nur dort steht die fehlende Ressource.

Yeah, that's an easy dig. Thanks for that.

This is the screen I was looking at, not the individual worker. It could be noted here, too, or even the alert icon could say something more specific. I had plenty of oat in my inventory, but failed to drop it into the resource room.

2nd time today where I needed information about something and it's not in the logical place. Often Mole is quick to blame the users when it's partially the dev's fault because the information is either not provided or in an obscure location.

The other one one is repairing. The game plasters everywhere that buildings are losing durability but now what you can do about it.

Often? Somehow I doubt that. xD
In this case it was clearly a misunderstanding/language issue since the OP said the message wasn't specific enough, instead of saying that it's in an illogical spot.

That one I indeed didn't find too clear ingame either.

Your buildings will lose durability over time, BUT, you should (and can) only repair them when a module drops below 60% durability.
When that happens, your wife will mention that some buildings need repairing if you ask her about the village, and you can also see in the building list which ones are damaged.
Those are the ones with a star-like damage icon next to it, as shown in the first screenshot:
https://imgur.com/a/P3XY1LD

To repair them, you have to take your hammer out in repair mode (that is actually explained in the knowledge tab with a little video, which you also get as a popup i think the first time the game tells you to build something), as shown in the second screenshot of my link.

Then you will see the modules that need repairing in orange (third screenshot of my link). The green ones you can't repair yet.

If you are looking for help on something, we are always here, so feel free to post your questions. Do know that it's better to put them in a separate topic rather than in an old one about another issue.

Building will lose its integrity over time. However, it won't be "damaged" until a section reach a certain percentage (50% ?). At that time, you will have 2 choices:
1- Fix the building yourself.
2- Have a builder's hut, assign a worker, have the worker fix the buildings for you.

If you feel like the game lack something, make a suggestion. We will all benefit from a good suggestion.

For me, the game provide enough information. The problem is it take time to understand the information or know where to get the information.

The bag icon usually means shortage of either seed or fertilizer (the two items that use the bag). A mouse over pop hint would be great.

Edit: the farm shed is a bit different to find out the problem. Other buildings are quite easy.
