Imaginary Traveler (may contain spoilers)

So, I did this quest with my son and I gave him everything he asked for, It said wait and talk to him the next day and I did. When I spoke with him he was upset and said it was too late to help the traveler. So, is there any way to win this quest, since I did everything he asked of me and in a timely fashion?

Was the next day, a new season? Most quests have a time limit.

As a direct answer, I finished that one, so it *is* possible to do. It looks like something that may come back later, because you get a "strange coin" out of it and your son tells you to hang on to it.

The quest has several steps where your son asks you to bring more items. Is it possible that you only did the first step?

I've collected many MANY coins from my son, they are now decorating my village. Is there a limit? Will I need this coin later? TY!

The coins is simply a special items as a quest reward. Whenever you lose one, tour son will hit you up with another, I guess it wasn't meant to be abused/exploited. Be sure to read the coin's description and try out the thing it "begs you" to do with it ;) Funny little detail that allows some ingame RP uses ;)

It failed for me too.

The son asked to you to get 3 pieces of clothing, and return to him. He then asks for a hammer. After that he asks you to wait until the next day.

This is where it fails, I've tried sleeping, not sleeping, speaking to him at various times throughout the day (including as soon as he wakes up), but he always gets mad that I took too long.

If that's the intended outcome then there really should be a follow up/better ending to make the player feel as if they accomplished the quest, instead of failing it.

I talked to him the SAME day, even if it says to wait until the next. He gets mad either way, and says its too late, his friend already left. That's apparently how it goes, the quest doesn't fail.

I know how the quest ends.
I just read it as "we get a failed quest" and....... That would not be the right thing.

I did the quest all in one day

(First quest)Bout the clothing from store
(Second quest)made the hammer myself

Then it told me to wait the next day an son was mad

Lost 1 point in mood or affection

I even wake him up myself :(

All quest done in one day other then third part that told me to wait the next day

So was there no way to make the kid happy?

I have done this quest in 1 day long seasons yesterday without any problems, so the problem lies elsewhere.
