Market Stall Sale Prices
My understanding is that it doesn't matter what the market stall sells; it 'sells' enough goods to equal the trader's skill. If a trader sells 400 coins per day, you will input X goods to equal Y coins. The coin value is based on the items base price, not its sell or buy price.
A desk sells for 200 and a pen sells for 2. My trader sells 400 coins per day. Thus, they can sell two desks per day or 200 pens per day. Is that correct?

I've found not all items have the same input vs output prices. I don't think there is a way to make a profit if you aren't making the raw materials themselves.

I made a few shreadsheets to try and track the 'best' output items. Would anyone care to double check my thinking/math? I used the base price of the inputs with the base price of the outputs. It would begin to break down if you were buying the raw materials from a vendor and selling them to the vendor. This reflects market stall base prices only.

My thinking was what is the best 'additive value' bonus. That is, what item makes the most value vs selling the raw components. I didn't take into account the blueprint or tech cost.

The diplomacy skill isn't impacting price per good, it's impacting rate of goods the stall holder can sell. The higher their mood and diplomacy skill the faster and more of an item they'll sell and that's whats getting you more money. Every item has a flat set in stone value for selling at the stall (although your personal amount for buying/selling can be modified with the diplomacy perk).

I mostly just use the stalls as a weight release in case any of my production or extraction people are over producing and I didn't notice, then I have to get the food or resource storage weight under control. Even playing it that way it was very quick to get the million.

I never thought could earn so much selling manure. I have a pig farm just so could make my own fertilizer. But the pigs produced so much manure so only had it at 2%. With the market stall my pigs produce 100% manure and trader sells it all.
