HELP there's a Wolf in my Village.

I cannot develop my village as the Wolf keeps sneaking up on me. Is there a way to permanently stop it coming right into my village? I did kill the 1st Wolf, but another one has showed up a day later.

Building near spawns should disable them (a boar and wolf spawn was disabled near my buildings). There might have been multiple wolves, so just check around the area for any who had spawned prior to your building.
Also, if there is a spawn nearby where villagers may wander off to (miners, hunters, lumberjacks, etc.) a wolf may chase them home.

Thank you Coyutie. I will keep eye out as according to the map, the Wolf area is a fair way from where I am building.

Are they still there after a season change?

invivo4u, I have not had a season change yet, as I am just in process of moving my village to here and have days on the maximum of 30 while summer and autumn.

kill it. they do not respawn till season change and will not if you built close enough.

I did kill it, but still have a Wolf without any season changes yet.

Yeah don't panic yet usually building too close to an animal spawn point removes the spawn point. Also wild animals don't attack villagers so they're safe you're not. The game also goes through a lot of calculations and thinks about a lot of stuff between seasons, that's it's kind of "refresh" stage.
