Haven't really seen anything else that would make sense to put on them. (Obviously clothes would make sense, but the model is folded and not suited for hanging on the pegs)

That works. I probably have a hat or two kicking around, since they're common in abandoned camps.
I tried bunches of herbs, which seem like a reasonable thing to hang, but no luck. I've seen hanging cheese and meat in other buildings.
The cheese and meat wouldn't work because your object would need a model with something that you can hook over the knobs. What you see in the kitchen/food storage building is just drawn, not the actual objects.
Same with the herbs; unless they come with a piece of string that you could put over the hanging rack knob, it wouldn't look like in the herbalist hut.
I'd been kind of hoping they'd appear on the rack with rope holding them up, but... ah, well.
Being able to hang bunches of herbs would be lovely!
