Oldest Recruitable Villager Age
I recently had a quest from the wife that ended up with me recruiting a 47 year old man to my village. I try to match all of my villagers together but all of my villagers old enough for him are already married and I've never seen a recruitable villager older than 30, and I need someone at least 37! Right now I just hope my wife sends me off to find another amazing (female) villager next season as they tend to be older.

What's the oldest recruitable villager you've come across?

Nope, you're wrong.
You need a wife which is at least 27 years old.
Max. age gap between NPCs for building a couple is 20 years. 10 years is only the limit for your player character.

Did she already send you to recruit the farm woman? She's the oldest eligible bachelorette that I'm aware of. When I first played this game, years ago, they made it difficult to recruit new people unless your reputation was high, and I had a guy come to my campfires wanting to join a village. He hung out for years, in game, through rain storms and blizzards, never leaving, but refusing to join my village, because it wasn't reputable enough. :steamfacepalm: By the time I was able to recruit him and build a house for him, he was over 60! I was already seeing my original settlers dying off, one by one, since they didn't live much longer than 60 years.

Iv got that guy in my Settlement too.
I paired him off with a 20 yr old girl, I bet his eyes lit up! She didn't seem to enjoy that, so I moved her out later & put in a 30 yr old & left it at that for now. If she doesn't like it he'll have to live on his jack!

My 39 year old Georgiana, who recently moved into a house where Amerigo lives, who is now 52 - has got Georgiana pregnant - that's a 13 year difference in age.

So sad he won't live to see his child grow up.

All the campfire people I see are like teens and 20s the only old ones were super villagers that came from the special wife quests. The age on the super villagers seemed to be all over the place.

How many of these special recruitable, quest villagers are there? I've seen 4 so far.

6, one for each skill.

Georgiana (female, farming), Amerigo (male, diplomacy), Roland (male, survival), Nikola (female, production)
I haven't gotten the extraction or hunting people yet, but assume one will be male and one female.

He has lived to see both his kids grow to adults so far in my village.

Oh my goodness, THANK YOU for asking this question and THANK YOU Capuzzi09 for answering. I thought everyone had to be within 10 years, I didn't realize the villagers had more wiggle room and could marry within 20. I have been searching relentlessly for a 37 or older wife for Amerigo, and I haven't been able to find one for him. I'm saw plenty of 27 and 30 year old eligible bachelorettes, though, so that will fall within the 20 year limit. I'm so darn excited! I thought this poor guy was going to die alone in my village. Ty ty ty ty ty!

I did some of the quests involving these people but did not invite to join my settlement. What are so special with these?

When inviting people to your village their skills is 3 at best, the special NPC's have a whopping 6. For a new village this is fantastic, if your a veteran player it might be a ....do I need that skill and the mouth to feed and body to warm and house. The game is open to your style of play.
