How to disable falling tree damage?
i saw in the update that there is now falling tree damage...how do i disable that and remove it completely from the game? im not going to have to worry about stuff like that in my game considering there is no way to tell where its gonna fall---ive tried. i play games for fun and get away from real life not have to worry about it in games.

Pretty sure you cant

Don't move until the tree falls. It always falls 'away' from where you were chopping. BTW, this isn't the only game where falling trees can do damage.

Honestly, I fail to see the issue. The tree falls really slowly and almost always away from you. I actually have to try to get hit by them, so I'm a bit puzzled how this is a problem for you.

I can see it being a problem if you fell a tree, but not wait until it has fallen before moving to start chopping the next one. Often I used to fell several trees all at once before going back to chop them into logs.

Well that's a problem because the game simulates life to a degree. You have to eat or die of hunger, you have to drink or die of thirst, you can get killed by wild animals, bandits and the cold.

If you don't want to deal with those things then use the Gameplay Settings to make yourself invulnerable. "Unlimited HP", "Lack of Hunger", "Lack of Thirst", "Poisoning", "Temperature" are the settings you need.
If it were up to me, I would add the risk of cave collapse when digging for ore. The risk of drowning if I cross a river while being overloaded. The risk of falling off a horse if it is scared by wolves. Rock falls in the mountains...

I get hit by tree damage very randomly. It never just falls on me. I go to dig up the stump and then get knocked out. Or go to chop it into logs after it's on the ground, and the first hit makes it fall a little more, and I get knocked out.

LOL nop;e falling tree's (and other things) are one of the best moments in some games (especially with co-op ones) we have whose going to be squished first competitions.

Cut down a tree, or cause a cave-in hurting or even killing your team mates (or yourself).

As far as I can tell it always always always falls away from your last chop. The only two ways I managed to get killed by a tree was to run around it to stand under it, or when I didn't watch it and started digging the stump out while the tree was still bouncing and I was unlucky enough for it to bounce exactly onto where the stump was.

Your best bet is also the most immersive: Take a second to watch the tree fall.

I started to get hit with the trees until I realized not to move.
