Editing villager model, voice, hair, personality etc.
Is there any way to edit NPCs using 3rd party software or savegame editor?

Finding the perfect wife is impossible...So I like to create my own.
Edit their model, voice, personality... Prefrably their name, age and skills as well, but mainly I like to edit voice and model.

I'm pretty sure such a thing doesn't exist atm, but maybe someone else knows?
I know there was a savegame editor that people used to change the building limit for a while. But that stopped working with bigger save game files and the building limit wasn't adaptable anymore through it in the later versions of the game.

The devs highly discourage using a savegame editor as it could lead to corrupt savegames or all sorts of unforeseen bugs in the game later on.

What Morri says. We cannot encourage or advertise the use of third party software. Please don't discuss this on the Steam forums.

I thank you both and I do understand that 3rd party can not be encouraged here but I was leaning more towards the "modding" side of the game if you will...

You see there's this beautiful looking woman with almost an "ogre with a throat cancer" like voice who has low production skill so I can't put her niether in tavern or blacksmith (which would be quite fantastic roleplaywise). Who is also a romantic btw.

Then there's this sweetest sounding "snob" who only has high value in Extraction...

I'm sure they're assigned a random profile for their voice/looks/personality... I just wanted to create perfect wife.

PS: Could it be the voice profile changes upon every load? Because that ogre-like woman sounding so much softer now.

Modding is also not currently supported in the game either for the same reasons. It isn't completely ruled out for some time in the future.

As far as I know, no profiles don't change every load.

Erke there is some really pretty girls, why not just wait till you see a girl that you actually like and the court her.
Take your time as you explore the map visit other villages. My charactor was in his 30's when I finally won my chosen girl and eventually married her.
She has a sweet voice when I was courting now its just text.

My Racimir wanted to marry a redhead this time but he had to give up on the idea because they were never "perfect". They either didn't have the skills he was looking for, they had the wrong personality or told him in a very cranky voice to HAVE A GOOD DAY!!

He is now married to a not so beautiful brunet who works hard, wanted to try to be a good mother and speaks to Racimir in a nice and loving way. He is happy :steamhappy:

If I ever meet a ginger/redhead in game, I will flirt and try to marry her even if she has all 1 skills... I'll teach her everything about life and everything she needs to know... I might even keep her unemployed so she could enjoy her days and do whatever she wants... Our children might not be the superhuman geniouses but they would be ok... The bloodline could perfect itself in time anyways... Our dynasty would be something, people looked upon!

Unless she's a snob... Snobbiness kills it for me...
