Small heart icon near status circle

A smaller icon (like the one used for cleanliness) appeared that had a small heart and something else in it. Fearing it had something to do with my marriage, I ran and stood around her until the icon ticked away and then I noticed that my health suddenly jumped up.

Anyone know what this meant? Not sure when it appeared as I was running around eating some salted meat and gathering sticks.

Nope. Was just eating stuff and picking up sticks. Though I did learn about red percentage food the hard way.

Just had another one come up after the "Dirty Deed" quest completed. Something in a green circle just under my 'encumbered' indicator. Don't remember what was in it.

I wish there was another page to note what all possible radicals were that could come up but I guess it's supposed to be a surprise? A pop-up window stating what it is when it first happens would be lovely.

Just searched the knowledge tab and the only one I found was the poison - the purple skull and crossbones. There is nothing that talks about/shows the red circle that once it expired, my health jumped from one third to two thirds full in an instant. I"m assuming the green one was some sort of boost because of doing the dirty deed but if it was, I have no idea what it boosted.

I did just find out that there's an official guide for sale for $18 but having grown up in a time when user manuals were included the original purchase so the customer would know how to
play the game they just bought, I have some issue buying them ;) .

You might have been drinking a health potion by accident. It rises your maxium health for some time but it doesn't rise your health itself. So to make use of it you also have to drink a potion of instant healing.

So if you only drink a potion of health your relative health lowers (but hitpoints stay the same). After expiring the health circle goes back in its original state. So drinking a potion of health gives the ilusion that your health became lower (while in fact it doesn't)

Next time you see it; take a screenshot. Easier to help than from a description.

But the heart was definitely from a health increase potion.
And the green circle thingie seems to me the one to indicate you were intoxicated from drinking alcohol.

Doesn't the red heart mean he is running very close to loosing all his health?

I don't know how to post a screenshot, but the green circle pictures one of your skills in the center (I guess depending on what issue it's addressing) and the circle is a very light green.

My guess is that it might indicate that you're earning skill points. But that's just a guess.

There's no icon that comes up near your stats to indicate you earned skill points.

The green circle comes with the builders trance skill. I don't know it it comes with miners trance, woodcutters trance of farmers trance too. What were you doinging when it apeared ?

Green circle is also increased stamina for a while (so I believe)

I believe it's this one that markusdark talked about (the second one he mentioned); since he mentioned getting it after completing the quest 'dirty deed' which involves alcohol.
