Even in real life trees dont grow back from sticks lol stumps however have roots in the ground already awaiting the season to commence growing shoots you know branches. XD
On my EA-Map, I dug them out, too. Just for the additional log. Huge
Integrating such a grow-mechanic into MD might cause a forest-fire in your PC ;-P
