IIRC, he was of Polish descent.
As an aside, my king is "ambitious", which I haven't figured out yet is the "Good King" / "Bad King" / "Neutral King"
Hence no princesses, castles, churches, knights, big army’s, dragons, potatoes, etc.. ;)
Also come with the discovery of America 🤣
You should try to kill a bandit. You'll notice every time you go away from the corpse and come back to it, that it will have moved a bit and laying in a different position than before...
It's due to it being spawned in again when you come close, but still looks creepy. I killed two once near the stream where i regularly went to fill my water buckets. And every time I went there, they were laying slightly different. Once I found one of them sitting upright. Was actually creepy, especially at night. :p
Just wait for it. They spawn every season random at different fixed key-locations in The Valley and do scale (in number, weapons and tools) with your games progress.
I think they’re having explicitly a dispute with Racimir and his heirs. All NPCs, villages and animals seem to be okay with them.
Maybe Racimirs parents had a running credit to payback …who knows.
To make the game more passive, it would be nice to be able to chase them away by throwing rocks and rot until they flee
Why am I thinking of a 'Banker Suit'-mod for Bandits right now... 🤔
nah... having over 30 million coins in my pocket.. that must be what lures the bandits;)
They somehow always eat cheese & raw onions and drink wine- bandits must be french.
french love ending dynasties;)
I hope yours was. ;)
Both landscape and architecture look very similar to the Ore Mountains[www.google.com], which includes parts of Germany, Czech Republic and southern Poland.
But regarding the time and age, it would probably be more precise to say it's set in the eastern part of the 'Holy Roman Empire (of the German Nation)'.
