Maybe I need more fields... maybe I need to build a field, fertilize and plow it, destroy it, rebuild and so on and so on... .
By the time I get the stables-tech, my Manor will be so advanced, populous (to the third generation) with all the quests done, there will be no need to use leave the Manor and use the horses which would have come in VERY handy...
This is (with all due respect) pure nonsense.
Get clay and straw and make adobe.
Of course you can farm your fields, hoe, fertilise, sow and harvest.
Thanks for the constructive response.
Also, bstangeby, appreciate the insight from your journey.
Their map is really really small compared to other games. 2k maps are nothing. So, to make it seem bigger, they limit your ability to travel. I agree that the horse should not be so far out. Technically, everything should be available if you can afford it (IMHO). Another thing is thier wagoneers that are 10x too expensive. What a useless feature that is LOL!
I actually use wagoneers, can't be arsed to walk that much.
Always make use of workers. Especially for fertilizing and sowing seeds. In early game I would recommend harvesting yourself (double harvest perk is very early and harvesting is quick unless you have giant fields, at which point it is no longer early game)
Why drop it on the ground when you can use a compost bin instead?
