Personality Types
Are there 4 personality types? And is there a way to tell which personality type each person has?

And do personality types matter when match making? Or is there a like/dislike system among the citizens in your settlement? Or is that not a thing in this game?

The biggest aspect of personality types is the kind of gift they like, and the conversation choices you have when "wooing" your future wife.

Once you reach a certain point, you can 'Alt' to see their personality type.

With villagers, Insofar as "Like / Dislike" there's mood / happiness. Basically, unless it hits -100, they're fine. (Better to work in the field and go back to a home, than sit around a campfire)

With the latest update there is a lot more interaction with your wife. I personally prefer the "free spirit". She is funny. I have no personal experience, but I hear being married to a snob is no fun. Since the new update, mood is actually more important, as it now affects productivity. While she is not pregnant, we want her to be productive. Also, happy wife happy life :)

I disagree there. I love my snobby wife and her "I dont take no crap from anyone" approach to problems :)

Mine is a very active bee and also a bit rough.

In one quest where someone called my son a thief, she punched the guy in the nose. Then in another quest some bandits stole my son's money, I tell my wife about it and she asks me if I want her to come with me.

I think she likes to beat people.

I always end up with those bees, as my first worker and soon to be wife is always a woodcutter. Bad choice. I was quite shocked to learn she punched that guy, so I was busy apologizing to him and finally had to pay for the scythe :(

What about citizen relationships? Does it matter which citizens you put together? Is there a liking system among the settlement citizens?
I ask the same thing: unmatched couples should not have children, and perfectly matched couples could have a child within a year. This would also help control population growth.

The MC should also develop relationships with vendors. 100% relationship equal discount.

Same here!

She's happy (80%+), in love (100%) and has great dialog lines :)

I never would have chosen the snob for Racimir, but she sounds fun. Maybe I'll have to swtich things up next time.

Don´t know if it´s a translation thing, but my Wife states "Prinzessin" which would mean "Princess" in English. Snob in english is translated to snob in german, if im not wrong. Is there a princess personality in the english translation?
So far I had a Snob, a busy bee and a free spirit. I don't remember the fourth one but I don't thing it's a princess.

Edit: I check google and the 4th one is Romantic.

I've always picked the busy bee, but she's a little nuts. The other day she decided that lazy people deserve a public execution because wasting time is the greatest crime of all.

A strong work ethic is great, but someone that extreme would make your life miserable.

Preach.

Of course this is the same woman who sent our two year old on a cross country trek, armed only with a bag of coin.

Quite frankly, given her demeanor, I'm surprised she didn't strap the little crumb snatcher on her back the day after she gave birth and went back to plowing the fields.

Thx, guess snob means Prinzessin then or the other way around, dunno, if somebody doesn´t like the snobby part, just think of it as a false/ bad translation. You got yourself a princess. ;)
