Maybe it's because i am way more attracted in this game for its survival and RPG gameplay, visuals and immersion than the town management part.
More clothing diversity and more mechanics around it could be great in a game that also calls itself a "survival game".
Making winter a bit harder and deadly, like making the lakes and rivers completely frozen at times or as a random season event, or making the water very cold that could affect the player and drastically decrease the effectiveness of warm cloth because they are wet, wich it would make things even worse and you have to put them off and quickly get another pair of dry clothes or move to a heat source if you don't want to freeze to death.
Maybe for even deeper temperature mechanics, clothing could also have water resistance and wind insulation (just like in Project Zomboid ! Or just like real life.) So you have to choose a bit more wisely what you want to wear depending on the weather.
It's sad to say that clothes in the actual version are only useful for the PC, then their only purpose are to be sold for money and nothing else.
I hope the future armors & shields update will be able to deliver on that.
Fashion Dynasty (just for the joke xd)
