As soon as they reach 60 there is a chance for them to die each season change.

If it's a chance, is there an age where they are guaranteed to die? Like, if you save before each season change, can you make a villager immortal if you just keep reloading it every time they die? I saw one video where the main quest guy was 110 or something like that.

Randomness dictates that at some point your luck runs out, but yes, in theory they can reach 100 and slightly above. I have never seen more though. No 200 year old guy yet.

Would be nice to get a notification if someone died. I would hate finding out by chance when finally noticing a work station isn't occupied anymore. Racimir lived with those people for so many years. The least he deserves is a notification :-)
Especially if it's the wife that dies...
I also would like this for my animals, since I name them all.

(Mind you, I don't speak of my own experience, since i never got that far; just bringing up what i read on the forum here a while ago. There was a discussion where someone brought up a great suggestion of having little gravestones for your villagers)

I'd like to see some kind of funeral pyre / cemetery system in place to deal with dead villagers, like in the game Life is Feudal: Forest Village. Because where are we burying them at the moment? In the gardens? Out in the woods? Death was a very spiritual event in medieval times amongst pretty much all religions and its peculiar that this game doesn't address it at all.

How about a church that you can build for your village to increase the villagers' mood? And then a graveyard that can be created similar to a farm field (on the same grid), which fills up with gravestones and mounds as more villagers die and eventually needs expanding?

In my case, the community came together to find a realistic and sustainable solution for old-age provision.
The result was quite pragmatic, but people in the village don't make such a "holy" fuss about the whole issue, so perfect circles are also rather unimportant (I hope Iduron forgives them). :)

A notification would be really nice. My first Donkey vanished without a trace. No corpse, no saddle, nothing. I'm still not sure if he died, or got "eaten" by a bug.
Edit:
So I joined the Mobile Infantry. Like to know more? :-D
