Why isn't there an option to rent a bed in the villages?
When I go to do some quests or just have an adventure around the map, I really miss the option to just sleep in a proper environment, in an inn or even a villager's home. It's not like it was unheard of in the medieval era that for a few coins you got a meal and a bed, or a sleeping spot on the ground but under a roof anyways.
It kinda ruins my immersion when I'm walking around with a smaller fortune but I have to make a small campfire just outside the town limits in pouring rain just to sleep.

Simply agreed. Renting a bed should definitely be a thing. Or, at the very least, crashing in the barn.

Once you get into the habit of using a campfire and you know how far to go outside the village, it provides the necessary.

Yes it does, however it is time consuming and unnecessary. If you are out and no where near a village, it serves its purpose. But if your in a village and still need to do business in that village, you should be able to sleep there. Also, when we are sleeping by our campfire, we should be able to pitch a tent and have bedding like the bandits.

Plus it should be an option to wash up instead of having to run into the nearest lake to clean yourself.

Yes. This could be included with "rent-a-bed" in a tavern.
And I want chests / barrels to place and fill :-).

I guess Medieval Dynasty could take a page out of Kingdom Come: Deliverance's book in this regard.

Could just build a house just outside city limits... can still house villagers there since the "magic" system allows them to work from anywhere... Except maybe farmers.

Hmm that brings up another question. Can you sleep in one of your villagers houses with them??
