advice from all players i'm sure is; don't bother with wattle wall homes. build them out of stone from the beginning. before you hit the walls with your hammer, select the options and change each wall to either stone or logs/planks. this is doable from the start and saves you tons of time upgrading everything later. plus, it saves time on time repairs.
you can upgrade some other buildings with limestone and daub, but not all. For instance the barn and resource storage can be but the food storage can't yet
This was part of last update! Like TheMole said, some but not all. I'm not sure if I've seen a pattern yet regarding which are and aren't.
Unfortunately, we can only update the walls, so still no option to add lighting inside. Hopefully in a future update? We'll see.
Any known effects on the villagers, like rising happiness or productivity? Or is it just cosmetics?
