Where is my villager?
So I recruited one guy. My char said, meet you there. How long does the NPC need to get to my place?? It's been 2 days. Will he just be in my house or something?

You need to have a free place in a house and assign him to live there.

You can't have him live in your house with you, only when you find a wife and get married with her, she'll move in to your house from that time on.
For all other NPCs which you hire as workers for your village you need free houses.
You can put one male and one female NPCs together in the same house, free beds are reserved for their child(ren) when they get married.
It is not possible to have two NPCs of the same gender to live together in the same house.

If he has no home, he has no direction, where he should go. If you asign him to a home (not yours, like Capuzzi said), he start to walk there, if the walk way is long it needs time. But if you go slep or season change, every NPC is ported to their beds.
I´m not sure how long they stay without home (and with no home, no food, water and wood). If his mood drop to -100 he left you for ever.

Can I divorce the woman or will I be stuck with her?

You can, But then she leaves your village forever and if your heir is under 18 she takes him with her.

Actually that's not true that they do not know when have no home. I had no free homes and my first villages was near my house, saying that he needs a house xD

I've found that getting a wife first to be most useful because you don't need to worry about an extra house. Women can do everything that men can when not carrying or raising children. So, for instance, I'm at the end of Summer 1 in this current game and my wife is gathering wood while I run around building stuff/hunting/etc. You choose when to have a kid, so you can have her helping out for as long as you want really.
