I just checked on my end and all seems to be working fine.
You need to set it to toggle and double tap the key that you have selected for it in the keybind settings. Nothing else, just press that key two times.
Make sure to save your settings after you made those changes (I have forgotten to do that often enough myself.).
Is this the only thing that does not work or are you experiencing other problems? Let Steam verify your installation, for good measure.
Yea I did all that, and it's not working, I don't understand what I could possibly be missing. This is the only small issue I happen to be having though, and its honestly not a huge deal.
Kind of blown away to get a dev response so quickly on Christmas eve no less.
Otherwise having fun with the game. Very satisfying seeing my humble wooden buildings popping up one at a time as I slowly expand.
Since this it seems to be working fine in general, we should be able to find out why it isn't in your case. I'm sure we will be able to get this working for you.
Which key are you using for it? I have noticed that despite the restrictions I have managed to assign the same key to several actions before. In that case, of course, none of them worked.
Perhaps you can try resetting your keybind settings to default and try again? Another way to do that would be to delete the input.ini file where the keybindings are saved menually on your pc. The game will then create a new one with the default settings.
If you are celebrating Christmas I wish you a merry Christmas and health and happiness for you and your loved ones. If not, I still wish you the latter. :)
All of my keybind settings are default. All I did was add onto the auto-run keybind to allow for the side-button on my mouse.
Tried both ways. Didnt get it to trigger either way
You could try to reset the binding from your mouse back to default just to make sure that it's not the game which is blocking this feature for you.
Next (if that turned out to work as intended) you can try to rebind it to the mouse again and if it doesn't work you should maybe try another mouse. Broken hardware could always be a reason for things not working as expected.
