Hanging Lantern and other decorations

I see many new decorations have been added to the game, but there is no explanation on how to build some of them once you have purchased them? For instance, the hanging lanterns and 6 types of Himmelis. I have read other posts and the suggestions have not worked for me. It would be really nice if we could get an answer from one of the Devs.

Thank you for the video nl_toplitz :) Now I know why it was not working for me. It's unfortunate that these decorations can't be put in the simple small house. This is the only one use in order to conserve space. Do these decorations increase happiness?

The simple small house only has the roofs themselves as a ceiling, so there is nothing to really hang items on. The wall decorations still work, just the hanging ones don't.

Not at the moment. At the moment they only make the player happy.
