I don't think open and closed curtains should be two separate items

They don't look as if they're different, except for one being open and the other closed. I suppose I can cope with having to pay for each one separately, but when I place closed curtains in the winter and want to open them in the spring, I have to use up more linen thread and cloth. That's weird and frustrating.

Will our villagers decorate their homes, or will we have to do it for them? Giving them curtains would be a ton of lined and cloth, not to mention all the other resources for various items for each home.

The shutters are the way to keep the cold out and heat in your villagers home, they also open/close at the push of a button.

I think it's purely astetic, but just to be sure: do the shutters influence the amount of fuel you use in your houses? Like it's better isolated from the cold when you have shutters closed?

Probably not but neither will the curtains when they're closed.

No they don't influence the amount of firewood needed, same as the number of windows don't influence it either. They are purely ascetic and for decoration

They certainly don't affect the amount of insulation on a house.

Alas, no. Our villagers require us to do everything short of wipe their butts. Speaking of which... where is the village latrine?
