Sickle and Scythe

Is there any harvesting that require you to use a sickle? Think used the scythe entire game but when time came to buy a new one saw the sickle so thought why not try it out. But it consumes stamina so much faster compared with scythe. Do not cut down the wheat in same wide area as the scythe.

If you let your villagers do the farming, the sickle comes in cheaper, but makes them slower. The sickle only makes sense at the very start of the games when you don't have access to making bronze. Once you have the Smithy II you can make scythes and using the sickle doesn't make much sense anymore.

Okay have not let the workers do any harvest. I have two employed in barn but they only make fertilisers and daub.
