Simple shoes made in the sewing hut for 8 leather sell for a decent price and are quick to make. If you don’t have a sewing hut then the simple bags you can hand make for 3 leather sell for about the same as stone knifes.
Excess seed especially flax seed is fast money
flax: for the big money
after harvesting the most possible amount of flax inmm year 2 you have nearly infinite money
At the very beginning, stone knives are a good source of income. They require few materials, that just needed to be picked up, plus they don't need any building to be crafted. If you're travelling from village to village, just pick up any sticks and stones you see along the way, stop for a while to craft knives, sell them, repeat in the next village.
If you have a workshop, small wicker baskets are a good choice (but not the medium and big ones, they have a worse material cost to selling price ratio). If you have villagers and or a wife, you can already automise the production, and you only have to gather the sticks.
For 5600, you'll have to gather a lot of sticks and stones though...
if your early game just forget about it
if you mid to late game flax seeds will net you a decent amount of money and the sewing hut has some items that take just leather and fur thats basically free money from you hunters
pretty much any seed that doesn't back into your farm
I try to avoid doing anything with stone or sticks because I use those in supplying my village. so far my village can supply itself of all its needs (or it will once my crafters go back to work)
you can also get some damn nice loot fromt eh scarecrows during the event and you can also get some damn nice loot from the bandits and tipped over carts
