Mouse pointer in the way of xbox controller

Has anyone experienced issues with the mouse pointer interrupting or getting in the way of controller actions? I will sometimes get into a menu and have the mouse pointer sitting in the middle of the screen. Its particularly annoying when the pointer is sitting right over the amount of item I am selling or buying. Usually when I hit a button anywhere on the controller the pointer will disappear but sometimes it just appears randomly in menus getting in the way even while I am scrolling with the xbox controller.

I haven't played yet, so it could be a problem with the game itself, but I know when I get this problem in other games I just turn my mouse upside down so that it doesn't register any movement.

I just nudge the mouse when that happens. It does self centre it so it does need to be done again whenever you are in that kind of dialog box.

Yeah I usually do just nudge the mouse to move it and then when using the control it disappears again. It does seem to be random though it doesn't come up in all menus. I'll try the upside down mouse idea.
