Kitchen and Gathering copper

first off seems like my worker isnt making anything I have meat in storage box in kitchen . Does the rare meat and cooked meat go there or to food storage and also how come for mining copper and tin doesnt come up confused any help be great thanks

Did you go to the management tab and select the food you want your kitchen to make?
Both raw and cooked meat usually go to food storage.
Copper and tin can be found in any cave. You can mine it yourself or wait until you can build the mine.

A little tip, use the Homeport at end of seasons ... that mean´s go to Caves at the last day of a Season and u can mine the whole cave part for part and collect stones, copper etc. in front of the cave be carefully with the time at the end if u are at 22:30h+ you should collect all parts u dropped and wait a bit until midnight.

Season Change always mean u will be ported to your Home so u can collect mass of things u are never can be handle to walk with ;)

Tip I just discovered the hard way : if you build a remote resource storage, say near the mine between Baranica and Branica, don't build level 2 straight off like I did, or you'll be carrying a lot of planks from your home village in multiple trips. If you build a resource 1 with the sticks and logs from the trees you fell locally then you upgrade with access to the chest without transportation - except the initial straw for the first roof..

Thanks yes I went through management and selected cooking meat , as for mining I built the mining shack but only says stones etc no metals? do I have to learn something or achieve something to have a worker collect it appreacite the help

Sounds like you built the Excavation Shed. That's a basic excavation building that gives you clay, stones and limestone as your minerals. To get the "good" stuff, you need the full mine, which is way up (down?) the Tech Tree.

Not to worry, though. All the hard work your villagers put in on the Excavation Shed will generate more Tech Points for you and help you get to that mine.
