And yes, your villagers (and travellers if it happens to be in their path) will use that and your tavern.
I just built multiple stone fires and they don't despawn but they keep going out. Do they automatically light at night like the tavern lights do?
My villagers are sitting at the fire before shift but the kids are still standing in front of their houses during the day.
That is sad. Seems like if there is firewood in the resource storage it should light automatically. That should have been a no brainer.
UPDATE: I can confirm that all of my stone campfires lit automatically at 18:00. Fantastic!
I need to correct my statement that campfires light automatically. They are indeed lit by villagers. Usually all my campfires are lit within a few minutes past 18:00.
This and also the lighting of house interiors when it’s getting dark, has been already suggested (May even several times) in the feedback and questions sections.
I’m sure RC is aware of it and if time comes we may have that implemented one day. Would add a lot, ut may this is more the category of polishing so for later stages in the development.
It could be, that I’m wrong.
I think I saw some kids sitting at the tables in the yard of my tavern and at the fireplaces in a lost session.
But that was before 0.4.x.
And I am not that far in my current session, to check. Sorry if I misinformed. :)
