A Glitch in building a house
I was building a simple small house, but wanted to avoid the entry to the house to be in front of some "mine-able rocks" (They provide an obstruction for any construction.) Since I have the ability to alter the placement of the door, I swapped the door panel and the window panel in front and the window and the solid panel in the rear of the house. Worked perfectly. Except...imagine my surprise when the final house's interior layout was unchanged and the door was blocked by the fire pit! If the interior layout cannot be changed, then the placement of the door should not be allowed to change.

Not a bug or glitch, changing house interior hasn't been implemented yet
It's not a mistake you are likely to repeat, though. I think I discovered this from reading threads on here before I fell into that trap. Did you do a quicksave before placing the new building? This is one reason why it is a really good idea to do that.

I have come to ALWAYS doing a quicksave before finally placing a building. That happened when I was placing a sewing 1 hut and forgot that the entrance was on the side not the front. Now I decide where I want to place the building, hit F5, place it, and then inspect the site location. In this house case I solved my issue with F9.

Glad to know that the issue is known by the game writers and just hasn't been implemented, however, Thanks all!
